At Yeditepe, we have a 24 hour consultant-led Intensive Care Unit and ICU team, as well as dedicated ICU specialists providing 24 hour support to our consultants and nursing teams. This enables Yeditepe to meet any need for immediate care, day or night.
Yeditepe University Healthcare Institutions’ General Intensive Care Unit is there to give people who are seriously ill round the clock care and monitoring, using the most advanced technology operated by highly trained specialists and a team of dedicated IC nurses.
Many admissions are patients who have just come out from the operating theatre, or emergency cases.
Patients have one-to-one or one-to-two care from a nurse, and the unit prides itself on its highly trained multi-disciplinary team. Physiotherapists, dietitians, consultants, nurses and administrative staff all work together to deliver a high level of care to Yeditepe University Healthcare Institutions’ international patients.
Among the General ICU’s advanced technology and equipment are:

- Advanced technology heart, blood circulation and respiration monitors and devices
- Infusion pumps
- Heart pumps
- Feeding pumps
- Automatically adjustable bed systems that position patients to prevent back injuries in patients hospitalized for a long time

The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit looks after people who are seriously ill with heart or lung problems.
